tendency (EN) - tendance (FR) - tendens (NL)

Historically both the English and the Dutch word derive from the French word, but neither did conserve the -a- spelling...

FR tendance
EN tendency
NL tendens

Still have grosso modo the same meaning, but not at all the same spelling...

Judgmental or judgemental

The idea of this social network did come out of the debate of me and a friend about the right spelling of the word judg(e)mental and whether either are the right British spelling for it...

I then mentionned the idea of putting up a site about these language discussions and she said she would join it immediately if I did do so...

So here it is... let's discuss the language problems and topics over here !
